Stillness….

When twilight creeps over the prairie
And the stars wink hello to the night,
There's a stillness that calls to the angels
Of heaven, who sing 'til the light.
To my heart they bring a sweet message
Of peace, love and hope through the years;
It soothingly blankets the heartache,
And tucks me away from all fears.

The blessings of life all surround me
As angels of heaven sing clear.
Serenity surely has found me
'Neath a sky filled with stars; bringing near
A tomorrow that's filled with enchantment;
The angels sing on 'til the light,
And to me whisper songs of contentment,
In the sweet starry stillness of night.
