There is a place, somewhere deep within,
That is a pathway, ending with a gate
Which leads outward, to that which is eternal,
And at the far edge of the Universe.

I travel a great distance, toward the
Core of my being, to it's very center,
And I arrive at a blessed, quiet oasis
That is billions of light years from this world.

It is there that the essence of Love lives,
Where the fundamental nature of Peace is defined,
Understanding finally is understood,
And the great "I don't know" becomes known.

I bathe in serene quietude
For perhaps milliseconds, perhaps eons;
Time has no meaning here –
Only Love, Peace, and Understanding are real.

As soon as I remember my physical body,
I am shot with infinite speed
Across time and space back into it,
Hoping that I can hold on to "It".

For a brief moment, and forever,
I have known what I cannot know,
I have seen what I cannot see;
I have heard the Voice of the Eternal "I Am",
That which continues when we do not.

And I can only gaze with awe
Upon the night sky….
